Robert Schumann had requested this (framed) photograph of his wife for his rooms in Endenich where it stayed near him until his death. This photograph also was for a long time in the possession of Marie Schumann and was transferred to the Robert Schumann House in Zwickau in 1926, along with other family heirlooms.
