The solopart introducing the third movement of her Piano Concerto in A minor Op. 7 is opened in front of Clara, a concerto which at the time of her highly successful concert performance at the Royal Court in Hanover where this lithograph was producted, neither existed in printed form nor had it ever been heard in public in full. The premiere, conducted by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, took place at the Leipzig Gewandhaus concert hall on 9thNovember 1835
