In 2025, funding from the Federal Ministry of Culture and Media will enable two ambitious collaborative events to be held by and within the Schumann Network!

With ‘CLARA! On tour’, the Schumann Network will present the new concert series ‘Clara!’ in autumn 2025, which will begin in 2026. The idea came from Julian Prégardien, a long-standing member of the Schumann Forum, the Schumann Network's board of artists. The series will kick off with four concerts curated by Italian pianist Saskia Giorgini in consultation with the Schumann Network in the Schumann cities of Düsseldorf, Leipzig, Zwickau and Baden-Baden. The local organisers are the Schumann Network members Heinrich Heine Institute/Schumann House Düsseldorf & Clara Schumann Initiative Düsseldorf, Leipzig Schumann Association, Robert Schumann House and Robert Schumann Society Zwickau as well as Brahms Society Baden-Baden.

The second collaborative project focuses on pianist Tiffany Poon, who was born in Hong Kong and has lived in New York since the age of nine. She will be performing a programme specially designed for her tour of the Schumann cities of Leipzig, Zwickau and Frankfurt, following her European tour with concert debuts at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam and the Salle Gaveau in Paris. The local organisers are the Schumann Network members the Schumann Association Leipzig, the Robert Schumann House & Robert Schumann Society Zwickau, and the Robert and Clara Schumann Society Frankfurt am Main.

Tiffany Poon, one of the youngest participants in the piano competition and prize winner at the International Schumann Competition for Piano and Voice in Zwickau in 2016, will be accepted as a member of the Schumann Forum, the board of artists of the Schumann Network, as part of her Schumann Network tour.
