„Dvořák’s Ninth Symphony, ‘From the New World’, is by far his best-known symphony. Written during Dvořák’s years in New York, it resounds with homesickness for his native Bohemia. Also on the programme is Schumann’s impassioned Cello Concerto, played by the stellar Julia Hagen. Tonight, the Residentie Orkest will be conducted by Pablo González.“
