Patricia Nolz scored a spectacular success as Zerlina in Barrie Kosky’s staging of Mozart’s Don Giovanni at the Wiener Staatsoper. The Austrian mezzo-soprano makes her keenly awaited Wigmore Hall debut with a programme filled with emotional and musical contrasts. She ends with Schumann’s portrait of a woman’s journey from tragedy to triumph.
